We are thrilled to be hosting the inaugural youth softball tournaments at the Field of Dream Movie Site in 2025!
Experience a well-executed, fast-paced weekend of tournament play at a variety of venues throughout the Dyersville area with championship games taking place at the Field of Dreams Movie Site.
*All pre-championship games will be played at field locations nearby in Dubuque County, IA.

Awards for the top skills competition competitors and for first & second place teams in each division

What’s REQUIREd
All teams need to be in compliance with all park, facility, and city guidelines, policies, rules, and ordinances. Coaches MUST submit the following documents before their scheduled weekend:
Complete team roster
Player age verifications
Team certificate of insurance
Signed team and player parent/guardian waiver
Coach signed rulebook
Additional documentation as necessary
Each weekend, players have the opportunity to flash their abilities on the diamond from the Field of Dreams movie.
Competitions are divided up by age groups. Dates/times predetermined as part of the tournament schedule.

Unfortunately, due to the quantity of teams and demand, the Field of Dreams Movie Site and Travel Dubuque are not able to coordinate team room blocks. We highly suggest our tournament support partners listed below. Visit Travel Dubuque's Stay page here for all area lodging.

No food or beverage carry-ins are allowed at the Field of Dreams Movie Site or additional facilities that have a concession stand open and no carry-in policy. Personal water bottles and jugs for players and coaches are acceptable. Coolers for cooling towels are welcome with inspection. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. No smoking/vaping.

There are no gate fees for any off-site tournament location. The Field of Dreams Movie Site is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and donations are suggested to help keep the dream alive! Thank you for your support!

All youth softball tournaments at the Field of Dreams Movie Site are open tournaments and get a wide variety of competition. From the highest level major teams to local community teams, all come together for a magical experience!

Emails will be sent to the team registration contacts outlining instructions for required team documentation as soon as it is available.

Game schedules at the latest will be posted on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (CDT) the week of the tournament, if not prior. Tentative schedules will be emailed to registration contacts as soon as possible depending upon registration speed. See a sample tournament schedule above. Games and related awards are dependent upon weather. Rain or severe weather can cause cancellation.

Due to the uncertainty waitlists create and the rare occurrence of team dropouts, we do not offer waitlists for tournaments. We do greatly appreciate your interest in our tournaments and encourage you to check out other available weekends.
